A producer based in Newcastle, in the north east of the UK playing and producing bass filled house & techno beats. Subnote has played next to big artists like, Skream, Karma Kid, Secondcity and many more.

He has also had regular plays on BBC Radio 1 and been a featured artist on BBC 1Xtra.

From learning to mix tunes at a young age of 14, his taste for music and his own productions have been influenced by many artists, from old school garage, drum and bass, dubstep, hip hop and more downtempo chill out vibes.

When he was 16 years of age he met Mudfoot Blaps at the CoMusica Arches project and started producing music… and has been creating tunes ever since.

‘When I was younger I used to be bang into hip hop and kind of still am, I guess it’s one of the genre’s I will never hate because it’s so diverse’.

Subnote now plans on trying to release his tunes on as many record labels as possible and start playing in bigger clubs all around the UK. As he’s moving to Manchester, the house and techno scene there is what he’s focused on at the moment.
